Our story begins with a message sent from a not too distant alternate future. This message warns of an impeding apocalypse started by the social media wars.

I've sent this message straight to you,
with hope that it will bleed through time.
Soon your whole world and all you know,
will begin the transition to mine.

It's not that far away.
And it started yesterday.
Soon we will be betrayed.
All the sheep to led astray.

The first shot will ring through softly,
sent to you through your computer screen.
A trickle down effect that no one could predict 
would ignite like ethylene.

Sent in a common meme
to destroy all that is free
lies a detrimental thought 
that there is murder in the art.

The second shot roars down like thunder
burning through the streets to kiss the sky.
Internet crusaders who worship the politically correct gods
burn their friends alive.

It'll happen all the time.
When art is a major crime.
Search through the sands of time,
expose the great white lie.

Its a message from another me
from another space
from another time
It's a message of a future disgrace,
it bleeds through and we can not rewind.

It says the end is near
Our dreams reign down in fear,
if only we could hear, this message crystal clear.

And I have been here before
witnessed the dawning of decay.
Felt all your raining ashes
drench me in a macabre shade of grey.

In the 22nd century we will be
everything you are but faster and smarter.
In the 22nd century, if you don't agree
prepare to be a new martyr. 

And technology will say
it will show us all the way.
If you do not think thats strange,
your world I cannot save.
